One of the top competitive surfers and industry leaders to come out of New Jersey. Kevmo as he his known to all those in the surf community both local and national can trace his beginnings to a bunch of Sea Isle New Jersey surf rats now affectionately called Club 54 a reference to the surfing beach they all terrorized in the late 70’s. Kevin’s talent would be recognized by the locally owned Heritage Surf Shop and soon a relationship that continues to the present would be forged.

Morris’s competitive career would reach top levels of both the NSSA and ESA organizations with notable performances at the Nationals in California and the East Coast Championships in North Carolina. A stint as a pro surfer would see him garner high finishes in in multiple pro ams with his best being a second in the Atlantic City Pro Series. Always on the invite list for the New Jersey Grudge Match which pits the best pro surfers from New Jersey against each other at a contest held at Seaside Heights Casino Pier.

Kevin’s ties to the surf industry go beyond just his roll as lead buyer for the Heritage Surf Shops he also has worked with multiple industry brands who recognized his skill set as a leader in the surf community. Kevin has taken a mentor role to younger surfers as both a coach at Saint Augustine High School and as a leader of the newly formed East Coast Boardriders Association. Kevmo is also a member of the New Jersey Surfing Hall of Fame nominating committee for Cape May County. Still a standout in any lineup Kevin can be found surfing up and down the New Jersey coast when the waves are pumping.
